Time Moves On

In the upcoming week my sons will be choosing which classes they want to take in 7th and 8th Grade. A few weeks ago, I came across this picture taken of the kids back in 2004. It makes you remember how much they have grown.
As a parent people will say kids grow up fast or time flies. Sometimes they say remember how small they were. All of these are true, yet at the same time I don't think of it in the sense that time has moved on.
I remember when this picture was taken and it feels like it was just yesterday that it was taken. I know that they are now grown up and will continue to grow. Pictures will bring back the memories of how what happened, or something else will set it off. At the same time I do enjoy the time I am with them.
I know that they grow, they are not the same as they were, but I accept it and enjoy the current times with them. I don't feel the aging process affecting me, yet there are times when I will realize that I am getting older. As time moves on I accept it and understand that. I do my best to the enjoy the current times I have with the kids, and the times to come.
